Each week, we’ll be scanning through recipes for exceptional photos from our community, and sharing our favorites.

We wait all year to see fresh berries and stone fruit piled high at the market. So when summer finally arrives and we catch sight of those plump, colorful globes of deliciousness, our first instinct is to eat as much as possible, as quickly as possible.
Our favorite photographs from our latest contest, however, have convinced us to exercise some restraint. Because if we can control ourselves and save some blueberries, peaches, or cherries for baking, we’ll be able to create something — whether a slump, pandowdy, or cobbler — that’s beautiful, buttery, and begging to be eaten with ice cream.
