While I confess that many of my lunches have a grown-up air, I do like to play around now and then. Today’s lunch was all about pinks and reds and circles. I topped mayo-slathered multigrain with sliced salumi and radishes, and a few strips of roasted peppers (peppers are miraculously and happily still in the market in New York City!). For dessert, I packed some Quin Dream Come Chews and Bergamot Caramels. I’m not much of a candy eater but I’ve fallen in love with Quin’s candies — which are as vibrant and fresh tasting as they are sweet-tooth satisfying. My kids may trade their sandwich in the lunchroom, but I know they’re not trading the candy.
